This is the new Cars and Coffee La Jolla – Reignited. It was a great success! The event was held at The LOT La Jolla.
The LOT La Jolla turned out to be an amazing place to host this event. The main lot in front of the restaurant and cinema was the show location for the super cars. Some of the cars there were the new Ferrari 488 GTB brought by Ferrari of San Diego, a Ferrari 458 Speciale brought by ModernImage, as well as a Lamborghini Huracan and Ferrari F12. A couple of American muscle cars completed the lineup… and let’s not forget our very own Mike Petruzzo’s Noble M400. Headlining was also the Porsche 991 GT3 RS we worked on just early that week. Of course, the show would be incomplete without our classic 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing and 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Roadster.
The underground parking turned out to be an excellent place to host all the visitor cars. The parking lot there is quite big. I guess you can’t name a movie theater “The LOT” unless you have a big lot. The parking structure was plenty to host all the show cars that came out – it was also well lit and surprisingly cozy. I guess what I’m trying to say is that it isn’t one of those ugly parking garages that you don’t want to stand in for 5 minutes. This one’s quite nice. Still, many opted to park on the side streets surrounding the meet. This was perfect as well since La Jolla on a Saturday at 7AM is not very busy at all.
