Vorsteiner has combined racing experience with an understanding of computational fluid dynamics in the creation of the Vorsteiner Novara Huracan.
The result of this combination is an outstanding demonstration of beauty and functionality that might seem as outrageous as a concept car but in reality is a fully functional motorsport system for the road. The Vorsteiner Novara Lamborghini Huracan puts exotic racing influenced aerodynamics into the hands of consumers with a street Lamborghini Huracan. The system is as aggressive is it can be for the road, barring race-only Super Trofeo type racing equipment.
Vorsteiner Huracan Aero Parts
The Vorsteiner Novara Huracan is an exercise in bringing together a complete system of Vorsteiner Huracan aero parts.
The Front Fascia
The carbon fiber front fascia is reminiscent of the kit created for the Aventador, but with a number of other key points. If you look at a stock Huracan, you can see how the front end is low and pointy. This creates an air opening up front that is as big as it needs to be for the standard vehicle. The Vorsteiner Novara front fascia is much bigger and allows for a lot more airflow. The front fascia works together with the integrated front spoiler, ventilated front fenders and rear bumper diffuser to create more of a very important thing when at very high speeds: Downforce.
The Front End
The Vorsteiner Lamborghini front end adds tremendous amounts of carbon fiber, which provides stunning looks. The air intakes throughout the front are protected by an ABS honeycomb mesh — this allows for more airflow while still protecting the radiators.
The Front Fender
The front fender vents help release fast moving air running over the front tires. This escape and release reduces low pressure buildup over the top surfaces of the tires as well as upwards pressure under the fenders. This all results in more downforce thanks to less counteracting air forces.
The Side Sill Blades
The aggressive side sill blades also form an important part in the aerodynamic advantage of the Vorsteiner Novara Huracan. Taking a complete approach at the direction of airflow is the purpose of this aero package. Every part of the equation is considered and acted upon.
The Wing
No motorsport influenced aero package is complete without a good wing – the king of rear end downforce. The wing is of course carbon fiber while the uprights are made of 7000 series aerospace grade aluminum.
A good look at the rear end shows the intricacy of the system. The goal is improved heat dissipation and better cooling of the Lamborghini V10 engine.
The Wheels
Finally, we have the specialty wheels. These consist of 20-inch Vorsteiner V-FF 105 Flow Forged wheels that are a perfect addition that do not take way any of the “Lamboness”. However, they do take away weight thus increasing performance and completing the package in both looks and function. The wheels are JWL and TÜV certified.
The Vorsteiner Lamborghini Novara Huracan: A True Masterpiece
Vorsteiner does many things right in all their projects. On the Lamborghini Novara Huracan, they built something so beautiful and functional that it is hard to put into words. The real thing, as well as pictures, tell the bulk of the story. This is the reason it was such a showstopper at SEMA 2015.
