HG Performance CLA250 Track Spec

To prepare this vehicle for the racetrack, the first thing we did was to add the KW Variant3 suspension all around. We were lucky enough to get the first US spec set for the car directly from KW Germany. We swapped out the undersized stock rotors and calipers for the Brembo Gran Turismo 6-Piston Monoblock and 2-Piece Drilled rotor front kit. Adding the Brembo to the front created clearance issue with the stock offset so we had to add spacers and replaced the stock wheels with a set of HRE Flowforms, wrapped in Toyo Tires.

The stock sound of the car was quiet and did not have any kick. With the car lowered and stopping very well, we hand-built an exhaust system. Our in house fabricators also added a one-off titanium tip to the system. Finally we dressed up the inside using Recaro Sportster CS seats with “HG Performance plaid” inlay by Autobahn Interiors. Because we also intend on taking this car to the track we also added a 4-Point bolt in roll bar.

We took the car to Modern Image for tinting and a wrap in our digital camo that showcased our sponsor vendors: HRE Wheels, Recaro, Brembo, Toyo Tires, Motul, Chapparone auto body, and Modern Image.
