Mercedes-Benz ASSYST Active Service System
All Mercedes-Benz models since 1997 use a variation of the ASSYST Active Service System to help owners understand what services should be done on their vehicles but this information is not always easy to understand so a basic overview is included below.
These services vary depending on the year and model of your vehicle since we follow the Mercedes-Benz maintenance schedule for each vehicle.

The ASSYST system does not tell owners when they should service their transmission and differentials or when to replace engine coolant, spark plugs, or other filters so it is not comprehensive. We perform services by printing the Mercedes-Benz maintenance sheet for each vehicle and following its checklist to ensure the complete vehicle is kept up to date, not only its engine. These maintenance sheets are kept on file and available to owners at any time.
